Personal Transition Plan (PTP)
(Updated 8/12/11)

The Personal Transition Plan is a GRADUATION REQUIREMENT!  Make no mistake about it, the PTP must be completed satisfactorily in order to walk the line.  This is a relatively new requirement, but students have known about this from their freshman year.

The following is the current list of items which must be done to have a complete PTP.  Most of the items listed are links which from which you can download a template or sample of that item (You will need MS Word, I think).  Please use this page to get the information and documents you need to complete your PTP!

That makes 29 items which need to be completed satisfactorily in order to fulfill the requirements for the Personal Transition Plan or PTP.

This year, the Class of 2011's PTP deadline was Dec. 2.  Expect a similar deadline for this year's PTPs for the Class of 2012.

So work on those PTP's, get them done ahead of time and have a more relaxed, non-nail biting senior year!

And you Juniors (Class of 2013), Sophomores (Class of 2014) and Freshmen (Class of 2015), don't slack.  If your Transition to High School class, Career Pathway Core class or Stars class is doing things related to your PTP, pay attention and do those things well.  The better you do them as underclassmen, the easier it will be when you are Seniors.  And save your "Best Work" and any awards or test score reports you get along the way.  You will need them for your PTP!

Also, you have the option of taking your PTP folder home with you to work on.  But the safe keeping of that important folder will rest entirely on your shoulders!  Don't lose it!

Check with Coach Kalani in the CDC (Room A-1) for more information or to sign out your PTP folder.  Use the email link or give him a call at 974-4021, ext. 2238.

Work on that PTP!!!
